Hopefully fishing will be back to normal when the water clears up. Last year seemed tougher after the draw down.
Just some Secession info FYI, spent a couple of hours on the upper end. Mainly went to play with some new electronic and glad I wasn't looking for a meal LOL. The lake is muddy with a good bit of debris floating on the surface and submerged. Water temps are 48 to 50 degree before this rain we are receiving today. Did see some bait balls but nothing else not even anything hugging near the bottom. Had the lake to myself as fishing goes but did talk with a couple of guys placing some piles and one guy as I was leaving that was going after bass. He said they had a bass tournament last Saturday and said some bass are biting working the banks.

Went to the hill yesterday. The lake has alot of debris and mud but the lake is now within a foot of being full pool again (has risen 2' in the past 3 days). No telling if they'll draw it back down a couple feet or not. I'd guess they will with all the rain in the forecast.
Thanks for sharing the condition of Lake Succession. Im sure it will help someone wanting to fish that lake. Glad to see you got out on the water again.
