    Couple trips to wateree over the last few weeks.
    Some days ya had to work for them! Others you really couldn't do no wrong!

    Do you think last nights rains were enough to turn the lake to mud? It looks like the heaviest rains were well west of there and may not impact Wateree too bad. I crossed the Saluda and the Reedy rivers above Greenwood this morning and they were both blood red and out of their banks.

    Yes, however it may take a couple days!
    Most of the lake was already heavily stained yesterday.

    good morning Pete, mike d. hollaring at ya, was down camping at the statepark just before Thanksgiving and was doing everything you taught me, just couldn't get on the big ones. we had multiple double's hook up, but all were about 12 inches. didn't help that a hurricane rolled thru while we were there and the water looked like the ocean everyday, but it was an adventure, an as the others have said, better then sitting on the couch. i must admit i've caught stripers on every trip with what you showed me , now just have to refine it and get as good as you and get more of those big ones in the boat. have a good holiday
