    Default Lake Wylie 12 -13-22

Met up with Uncle Remus this morning at Ebinezier landing around 7:30. Air temperature was 38. Water temperature was 52. We ended up catching 60 fish tight lining minnows. 1 Yellow perch, 1 bass, 2 catfish , 8 crappie. Biggest crappie was 16", the rest were white perch, we caught very few small perch today. We fished until noon. Thank you for another great morning on the water.
Uncle Remus had this catfish tangle all 7 of his lines! I'm glad that I couldn't hear what he was saying about that fish!!!
    Hopefully Santa wasn't listening either!Name: 20221213_112744.jpg

Awesome Day!! That 16” Crappie makes me jealous. That is definitely a mess, if he got that out with cutting I’d be amazed. ??

Uncle Remus just cuts the lines. He was complaining that the crappies kept getting in the way of his perch jerking!

Better than my deer hunting trip with a runny nose little too cold for the nose. LOL Glad you'll went out and got your lines wet and tangled. I was hoping for more crappie to be boated but it is early yet. You did good on catching! I'm going to try to make it out Saturday night with the gang if all goes well. I got my heater ready.
We need to get Uncle Remus a knife sharpener for Christmas. I've seen his knife.

Awesome day catching 60. I know you guys were busy. Congrats. Cats, hybrids, stripers, gar, etc. can wreck your setup. Whenever one hits my rods I snatch as hard as I can and break them off. That has saved my tail many times.
