Default Lake Wylie night stalk 04 September

It was another beautiful night to be on the water. I tried a different spot again. Again I just drove around in and out of main lake cuts and coves. Found another huge school of fish in 19-25’ near main lake.
Had first crappie in boat before I had all rods in. The channel cats drove me crazy ultimately causing me to break off a 2lb plus slab.
I got where I would just try to break the cats off before they wiped everything out. I’d rather retire 1 than untangle 6 lol
Anyway I was trying to break it off then rolled on the surface as the line broke it was a monster. Lesson learned. I pulled another one off trying to lip it
Caught over 40 with a good limit of 10-13” with a few suicide 9” fish. Managed 2 more big flatts mid 35 and a 24
I even made me a rod rack to make it easier to fish out of this battle ship lol

Yea I was anchoring in the area putting out lights and using jigs and minnows. After awhile I just used minnows cause I love to see a rod bens or see a slip float lay over.
