Default sure is quiet around here!

I can understand why I'm not out fishing or doing anything. The heat is #1 add that to just having a knee replaced.
But somebody has got to be doing something? Replacing line on your reels, charging your batteries, been to a new place to eat?
I'm dieing here with nothing to do but physical therapy nothing to even read about.
So what are you doing, help an old fart out.

Well I do hope your recovery is going well. I start my own recovery next week from hand surgery. Been getting needed chores done so not much time to get on water myself. But today I did for a short time. So to give you something to look at and have a chuckle I did catch this monster fish

Hope you recover quickly. Spending time with a pup certainly isn't the worst way one can spend their day.

Hope to get out one day this week. Took time off the water to protect myself from the July Fourth Crowd. Been trying to catch up on my motorcycle riding and took up a new hobby also. I need a 10 day week to get everything in. I’ve recovered from hand surgery so I can’t use it as an excuse. All I need is some cooler weather.

Grady, you need to get Linda to chase you around the park if it's that bad. Just do something stupid and run like heck! Hope to extend a trip to you soon provided you are up to it. I felt like the world forgot me when I was at home when I had my knees done. It is boring. Holler when you are game to go, I'll even let you pull anchors a few times! That's what buddies do!

At least it's got scales and slime. Only scales I've seen lately is the that tells me I lost a few pounds.
    Thanks for posting

Thanks to everyone that's posted so far, this has got to be the most boring medical thing to do. You hurt like h**l for two weeks then you are stiff for I don't know how long ( I'm at 5 1/2 weeks) seating up hurts.
    Please keep posting
Dwagg, if I could run or even walk around the park I'd be healed up and ready to fish.
Getting better every day, I actually put my foot up on the seat in the shower, that's progress

It was along this time during the year that we practically did away with the off topic board because NOTHING was getting posted. Then the jokes, gardening, vacations, and anything else someone wanted to share with the rest of us got started so the boards livened up a bit. A few didnt like it but most was glad to see something being posted again.

So...........it does not have to be fishing related to share a thought here. Get something going. I'm sure most of us is as bored right now as anyone else. Me? I got 2 of the 3 crossbows I have out this morning and got them re-sighted back in after having trigger work done on them. Deer season started here in 9 more weeks. It's been a bit cooler today so was a good day to be outside this morning doing something.

had heck of a spring ketchn then had a couple of minor health setbacks so took it easy and only did some cruising around the lake and visiting with folks and holding cookouts. But main focus was getting my tomatoes in and they are doing splendid on their crappie carcess base. got first big un this week and bunch of my cherries.

About to go into a frenzy of grandkids so that's always a blast.

The grands have been a ball for the Mrs and myself. We only have two girls...a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old. Another on the way come October...a grandson.y maters have been turning since mid May and theyre GOOD! I tried planting on fish heads one year. Didnt turn out too well for me. When the weather cools off my plans since retirement is to hunt mornings and evenings and fish during the mid day. Gonna be busy for sure!
