So...........it does not have to be fishing related to share a thought here. Get something going. I'm sure most of us is as bored right now as anyone else. Me? I got 2 of the 3 crossbows I have out this morning and got them re-sighted back in after having trigger work done on them. Deer season started here in 9 more weeks. It's been a bit cooler today so was a good day to be outside this morning doing something.
Me and the Mrs started playing Pickleball a little over a week ago for exercise. We are not very good yet. We are getting embarrassed by 75-80 year olds. It’s pretty fun and a nice break from our normal routine. Just having a problem being excited about HOT WEATHER FISHIN. A scooter ride to the High Country is in order today. It will be at least 10 degrees cooler. Got a fishin trip tentatively planned for Wednesday. Planning activities every day is tuff, but it sure beats working. Retirement is Awesome.

Thanks for everyone's posts, I'm up to my eye brows watching Heat of the Night, Perry Mason, and the many cowboy shows on TV. Still a little fuzzy from the drugs for knee pain.
Any distraction is welcome, I check my feed several times a day. Going outside isn't any fun bybthevtime I find a comfortable position to sit it's too dang hot to stay outside.
At least I learned something, I now know how many floor tiles there are in the Motorhome, how many little lights there are on the ceiling.
    Yes I'm bored.
    End of rant.
    Again thanks for posting anything

Since I work from home in the mornings, the late afternoons have been my time for fishing. Lately we've had some bad storms hitting then so I've stayed home. Can't wait to get out again soon.

Wife went on a 7_day cruise to Puerto Rico and guess what she brought back unhuh covid. We both tested positive so we hibernated fora two weeks. We have since tested negeative. Finally getting to feel better. I took the pontoon to doss marine today to have a 100 hr service. When I get it back it goes up for sale. To many boats and to bad health to keep all of them. Got to start getting the boat ready for a trip to Mississippi in August for crankfest. Looking forward to it as it may be my last. I am having a lot of heart problems. Anybody want to join me in the trip to Mississippi. Send me a pm. Everybody be careful and enjoy your summer.

Don, sorry to hear about your heart problems. I'd love to go but I'm stuck doing PT for my knee for a couple more months.
Glad to hear you are not negative, that had to be hard with both of you sick. I think Linda almost shot me the 1st week after my knee replacement, but I talked down and hid the gu.n

did a one boat nitestalk last last week, got on Wylie, ran back into Torrance and got all set up, caught 4 crappie in less than 5 minutes and then had to pack up and make a run for the landing really fast when we couldn't tell if we were sitting on the water or in the water. one of those pop up thunder boomers rolled in super quick. started raining so hard I swear I saw a crappie swim by my windshield on the way to landing. Hang in there with the knee and make sure you do all your PT, my new superman knee will be 5 years old next week. looking forward to seeing you back on the water

Went to PT yesterday bending knee to 120 degrees at 6 weeks, max the new knee will go is 13 degrees so I'm doing good. Yes, I'm doing PT 2x a day.
Glad you at least got a fish on the line before you had to swim back to the dock. :-)

Sorry to hear that Don. I know that had to be rough. My wife and I had it at the same time as well back in February.
I'm glad y'all are doing better. Do you need anything?

That looks a lot like work, I'll pass. Never had the luck my Dad had with growing things. He made it look easy
