    Default Afternoon on Wylie 4/28

Got an invite to fish this afternoon from Reelknot and son. We hit the water about 2pm and ran to Torrance creek, dropped some lines and started picking up a fish here and there. I boated a real small perch and CJ put a slab on a cat fish rig out the back.
By the end of the day I think 4-5 slimers were cooling thier heels in the box. The Crappie did there part and I dontbhave a count but guess at a dozen. Only 3 Prch decided to join the party.
You could tell it was Friday afternoon as the lake was full of pleasure boaters.
First time meeting CJ and son , both were a pleasure to fish with looking forwardvto doing it again.

You beat me to it, MThook. Lol.

I had the great pleasure of meeting-and fishing with-Mr. Grady today. We fished the back half of torrence and MThook started things off with a nice crappie. He pulled in a small perch that was used as catfish bait. Ended up catching a few channel cats from that one.

As we trolled around we picked up some decent crappie here and there. No pattern to it. We found them from 2 feet down to 20 feet. In flats and on points. Water was normal clarity for wylie and about 71 degrees. Wind kicked up at times, but was calm for the most part.

Lucas wrapped things up catching a couple of nice crappie and a catfish on an odd rig. A road runner underspin with a Bobby Garland jig body. I think it was monkey milk. I'll add pictures and numbers later.

    Great work guys.
Glad y'all were able to get together and find some to ride home with ya.
I miss fishing with y'all, as I have had the pleasure of fishing with MTHook, CJ and Lucas.
    Some good folks for sure.
Still trying to find some time off to get my boat wet down here.
I did do a little salt water fishing Wednesday after I got down to the work area.
Fished The Indian River in Melbourne FL. Caught 8 pufferfish and 5 stingrays.
All went back to fight another day. Maybe I'll get off early one day this week and get to try it again.
