A good start
Unclebill and I arrived today around 4:30 and went to the dock after unloading the truck. We caught 20 before heading to the house for supper. After supper and an episode or two of wicked tuna, we went back and fished under the light at the dock and caught another 20. Mostly babies but fun, we kept 5-6 and put em in the basket for supper in a day or two….

Last time I was on the Hill it was VERY HIGH, MUDDY, and TRASHY!I figured it would be back in good shape by now with the fish being hungry and ready to bite. I'm pretty sure the winds kept the biggest part of the crappie fishermen off the water this past weekend so there ought to be PLENTY of fish to catch. And you guys proved me right!

21 stripers today. Kept 16. The wind got up around noon and made it tough but we still stayed on em. A good start for sure!

No big ones (2-5 lbs?), just good eaters. I think Bill took some pics. I’ll see if we can post them from his phone. We’re going back after them again this morning. I’ll get a livewell shot to honor the Clark’s Hill master Butch!
