Default Uncle Remus's fishing report 03-15-22

We met, loaded up pontoon, dropped baited hook and caught fish then came home. Little more than that you know. We left around 7:20am and set up on our usual crappie and perch hole and bumped around with nothing much to show for the time spent. Talked with CK for a brief bit and we moved to another hole we like of recent trip to. We got set up and started to pick up a perch here and there with a crappie mixed in every once in a while. Spent a good while bumping along different area's learning depths and humps for the next time we hit this place. Water temp was 55 and wind was chilly. My face is wind burnt and with sunglasses you know what I look like once removing the hat and glasses. Decided to go to Beaver Dam and it was the best of the day move for us. We set up in 25 to 27 foot of water and began to pick them up immediately. Remus wore the floor out on the pontoon with his trips to the live well. Wind picked up on the open area we were in. As long as we were facing the wind the pontoon was manageable to keep speed at .2 to .3 any faster you were over them and to fast. We didn't stay to long before they quit biting. We had 48 on the clicker and I know we had more with the throw backs. Brought home 26 nice size crappie 10 and above for most, 9 perch in mid size range four large ones and 3 catfish. Was another good day for us to be together on the water and I appreciate Uncle Remus for being a great partner in our endeavors. Thanks Buddy! Here's what I got for pictures!

Count me silly for that. 😁 Good to see the blue attack minnows in action. Was a nice day to get out.

Meet and eat is good anytime. You name when and where! Also, this is a good time for anyone if you are off work or don't have DR. appointment to come out and join in watching ofishlbizzness put the smackdown on some food.
