    Default Any Wylie cat pros?


    I have a friend who lives on Wylie near BB bridge. He wants to take me fishn later this week on his pontoon boat that has no electronics and no trolling motor. We want to try for cats but I don't have any experience on Wylie for cats except occasional catching them while crappie fishing. Any spots within the greater BB area inside SC? Most likely be anchoring and tossing out mushy shad and worms.

    I hadn't been in 2 weeks, fell on some ice and broke 2 ribs. but the last time I fished , the main lake channel in 45 to 50 ft was where I found them. either side of bridge in the channel should be good.

    Hate you got busted up in the ribs. I tell myself every day to slow down and watch out for crap that could happen. Hope you heal quickly!

    Been at home for over 2 weeks, can't take much more of this! Hadn't tried to cast a rod yet but I might try it tomorrow out here in the yard and see what happens. Still real sore and cant cough, sneeze or laugh! Hurts too bad! not sure I can stand bouncing in a boat yet????
