I used to troll for stripers on Murray every winter. During those trips there were always boats around the bridge columns at every bridge. Occasionally, i'd see a crappie hoisted up as I passed so I'd guess that's a good place to start.
Regardless if that's helpful or not, good luck and let us know how it goes.

I got some advice from a guy that fishes Murray he advised to side scan docks in 20+ feet of water. He said they load up there. I’m seeing the same thing on Norman. More fish on docks than brush.

How did the Murray trip go?
It was tuff , only caught 2 crappie Friday and about 4 or 5 stripers . The tourney was Saturday , we were able to catch 9 crappie and probably 7 stripers . All stripers were put back , we weighed it 7 crappie and had 9.54 pounds with or big fish being 1.85 lb . We finished 5 in tourney and 5 on big fish . Thanks for all the tips ! On to Santee in Feb.
