I was wondering if you had one yet. You got to practice chasing fish in open water. You should catch up with Tackleboat and Crappie Kidd and see what info they could tell you to help you in tournament fishing. I don't have that stuff on my pontoon and tightlining is about all I do. P, do you spider rig with just jigs or just minnows, or both?

We do both , sometimes we use larger jigs and a lot of times we use the smallest jig we have , but we tip with minnows most of the time
