    Default Wateree smoke show 12-20

Hit Wateree this morning with a friend and his son. This boy will remember this day for the rest of his life.
Caught fish from the moment we put rods in right at sunrise, all the way til we pulled them up at 2 or so.
Wont exagerate when i say we were approaching triple digits.
Doubles and triples were regular, quads were frequent, and one time got 13 fish on 8 rods.

All fish as always caught on artificial.

Unless anything changes, today is probably my final day of the year on wateree as ill be filling up on charters for January locally.
GL to all fishing tomorrow. I feel tomorrow will be a great one!Name: 20211220_134527.jpg

Back when I was a bird chaser, really just an opportunistic fishermen, my boat broke down about less then 20 feet from that spot. Couple fishermen in a big SeaArk towed me in. After the two helped me getting my boat loaded up they asked if I wanted to join them, absolutely. They introduced me to CC.com and From that day I’ve been a die hard striper bait man. Thanks Rango and OT. They called that area down to the steep wall before closer to Clearwater the “honey hole”, and for good reason.
