    Default Wylie 12/5 “Bird Watch”

Well crappies wouldn’t bite. Trolled some usually good spots, came up empty. Saw two brush piles that had fish on them, decided to tight line. Nothing!!! Ran down the lake, made it past the sandbar and found birds diving. Perch were schooling under threads. Picked at them for about an hour, brought home about 12. Some were magnums. Threw back a bunch. Oh yea and ended the day with Miss Kitty!Name: IMG_2204.jpg

Fished Wylie 12/6 and kept 20 over 10 inches and threw back 2 over 13”. 90 percent of my brush was bare. Open water schools saved the day. It was tuff staying on them in the wind. Fished 12/7, same story. Brush was bare, schooling open water save the day again. Released 3 over 13” today. Released a 11 inch white crappie, first one I’ve caught in a while. Had help today, we had 6 fish at 11:00. Finally got on some, kept 22. The wind was brutal early. Im thru this week, that wind had beat me down. TIRED!!
