Thanks for the report Butch! I was one of the ones complaining about the slow longline fishing this fall. Nearly all my crappie have come off brush, and now it looks like the brushpiles are thinning out too, and I'm starting to catch as many or more crappie on the clean bottom, just like in your pics! But any day on the water is a blessing for sure!

Personally, I'm getting a bit tired of hunting. Ive been going as much as I could when working and now retired since bow season opened back in early September. There are two deer where I hunt I'd like to kill. Ones a wide 9 pointer and the other is a nice big tall and wide 8 pointer. IMO anyone would be pleased with with either one. Both of these deer only show themselves after dark and frankly I'm getting tired of waiting for them to show. Fairly warm weather returns next week. I hope to get some more fishing time in then.
