Fried for me, wife hates bones so I filet. Easier to vacuum pack and freeze without fins.

I like fish all ways they are prepared, but lean towards filets as the kids/grand kids prefer them that way

Filleted is the norm for my gang. We always use house autry breader and deep fry em. Occasionally we scale them and fry with the skin on too but still boneless filets.

Fillets, fried about 4 times a year.
Blackened the other 48 weeks of the year.
Old Bay is my favorite blackening spice.

Wait you can eat fish other ways than fried?
Fillets here. Fried most of the time. Some gets grilled or smoked.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

Not fair Butch……. You started the craving! Looks like a fish fry is on the agenda for the weekend.

Fillets for my family now. But growing up (many years ago) there was no filleting as my dad would say "your throwing the best tasting part of the fish away and wasting good meat".

Have you ever scaled them and then filleted them? That way you get the good taste of the skin without dealing with bones.
