By the way they said they were doing pretty good on stripers near the dam right now.
So me ant the wife decided to ride down to santee to take a look around. A little over 2 hours from me. We looked at Randolf's which I have used before then went up the lake. Took a look at Rimini landing and really liked it. Also went on up to Sparkleberry landing. Now that is in the swamp. Question is am I better off putting in at Rimini and going up or putting in at Sparkelberry if I want to fish the cypress for bream. I have a 17 foot lund and didnt know if I would be ok at Sparkleberry.

I'm not sure you'd like using sparkleberry landing with your boat.... you can just lots of stuff to work around... I'm not even sure where rimmi landing is, I come in from other side of lake to fish @ there. Look up Packs landing and you would be better using that ramp I'd think with store right there also. anywhere up in that area you'll need to watch where you're going but the bream fishing has been pretty good this year for me and I don't even keep them.
If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D

Thanks stumpjumper. I think Rimini landing is that one at Packs. The state has it listed as Rimini but I think everyone calls it Packs. I thought there were two but only found one when we got there.
