    Compression is 140 137 140.
    Plugs were ugly looking.
    Changed the plugs.
Putting new gas and trying again tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
If not change then I'll have to pull carbs and clean them.

She ran great on the water ears and hose.
Ran great on the lake just would not pick up any speed.

Stayed out until 10. No fish slime in the boat yet.

Changed plugs and got fresh gas.
She ran great. 30mph this evening.
Sitting in Seven Oaks and brought in my first crappie in her. Short but at least the skunk is off the boat now.
    Thanks for all the advise.

Motor needs a bit of idle adjustment, but ran good.
Fishing report is 1 small catfish, 1 short Crappie, and one gar.
All on minnows. All went back to grow.
One happy guy the boat is doing good and Momma has had fun with it too.

I would suggest you run only non ethanol gas. It it the root of many problems in older engines.

Congratulations getting the motor running. Get it cleaned up and with a tune up you will be in better shape to fish come Oct 10th.

Keep taking it to the lake if only for a boat ride. That motor needs running some to build up your confidence in it.
