Thread: 6-3 late report on perch trip.

Uncle Remus and I met up at BA at 8 am with plans for anything that bites. Launched and got under way without any problems and proceeded to spot A and checked out the area and decided to move on just didn't like what we saw. Spot B was the hot spot all morning, We managed to catch crappies, white perch, bass and catfish all in one location. Ran out of bait and began to use cutbait to catch them. ( NOT Billy from our board ) Two bass came off the cutbait along with the catfish. It was a good morning with the numbers running to 88 small to medium size perch with many throw backs. I know we had 100 or more total perch. Several crappies in 8 to ten inches all threw back along with a 4 lb bass, two others 2 to 3 pounds. Cat was small at 2.5 pounds. Uncle Remus was top performer with his usual 5 to my one! Uncle Remus, I had a great time until the heat settled in on me. I am ready to go again and hope it will result in the same kind of trip we just had but not as hot. Thank you sir for the time we shared.
