Thread: Wylie- report/where are the fish?

Been fishing 6 out of 7 days for a few hours each day.

Early in the week I was doing ok long lining creeks with 1/8 and 1/16 jigs. Best day i had was with jigs only. Went back the next day with minnows and manages 25% of the fish as the day before. Water was around 59 and warmed up to around 65 in the last few days. Warmer the water less fish I can find.

The fish seems to move from 12-8 feet deep to who knows where. I have tried deeper water, banks , bridges, and have yet to locate any good numbers.

What am I missing?

Stay with it , they are staging for the banks with the water temps starting to rise more consistently. Some of the bigger sows are going to the banks or already been to the bank , keep fishing creeks and flats they are there they just keep moving in and out
