Remus and I both had late DR. appointments and planned to meet up at BA ramp for some exploring of the lake for crappie or what ever that wants a free ride to my house. First location was a flat out zero prospects. Moved to a spot off of the main channel heading north. Found us the honey hole and spent rest of the day just cruising around at .4 @ 22-24 foot of water catching a mix of perch and crappies. Had 20 keepers on crappie out of 43 total. Most with egg sacks made it back for a later day. Perch was around 40 with some throw backs. Drizzled a couple of times on us but that was fine it wasn't any soakers. Had a great day with the master fisherman and guide. Thank you Uncle Remus for a great day on the water. Truly enjoyable time. If you aren't fishing right now you are missing out.

Dawgg, what were you doing while Remus was catching all the fish? Nice catch I'm glad that you got off the porch today.

Nice to see you fishing Ron. I was doing so well on chemo I just new we would be able to meet at Monty soon.
But the Virus quarantine has me sheltered in place for the duration.
That is on my bucket list Ron; To meet up with you, John, Remus and whomever else wants to come.
We all bout got new boats since we last fished together.

I was driving the boat of course! It did feel good to stretch and air my britches for a while. I have driven the last three or four times out and I think Remus is getting spoiled, so you better be ready to drive the boat with him fishing next time out for you'll.

Dang you lucky, he won't even turn his hands toward me to take the remote even if I got a fish on. Here lately he is acting strange, he can only catch fish on my rods and reels!
Keep him happy and he won't charge you anything!
