    Default Greenwood reports?

Any recent reports from Greenwood? We will be at the state park this weekend, hope to get some fishing time in. Thanks!

I went this past Saturday and caught 1 crappie and 4 perch. Water was still very muddy and full of debris.

I know there was a tourney on greenwood last Saturday, and the winning weight was 16lbs for 7 fish creel.... some caught numbers but most folks targeted bigger fish in deep water.... You can look on Facebook SC crappie associations page and see for yourself.
    If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D

I know Daniel Skipper (guide) has been crushing the big mamas last few days. He is taking multiple groups morning and afternoon. Catching limits quick. But i do not know what area. They are NOT shallow.

Pulling 1/16 jigs tipped with minnows. Fish were down about 10 to 12 feet. I enjoy fishing deep water for those biggens this time of the year.
I enjoy the forum. Now that I have retired, I hope to be able to contribute and meet some of the members.

Thanks for all the replies. Didn't get to do alot of fishing, but did pull jigs for a few hours. Caught a handful of throwbacks and my daughter caught one nice slab. Great weekend camping!Name: 20200313_182419.jpg
