You need to go to JC's on the corner of 378 and shore rd. They just open a bigger building. Also you have Richard at Lake World right before you go over the dam.

Hey S.C. Guys, BOLO NC CDC member crossing the border soon. I’ll be heading down to Lexington area Fri-Sunday. Visiting family there. They don’t fish so no intel on the tackle shops. Any good local tackle shops on south side of Murray. I’ll be staying near I-20 and Longs Pond Rd area. Won’t have time to fish but if get time like to check out a shop or two, may even import a couple new UL spinning rods.....
Thanks for any help.

And then there are the big shops, Academy and Sportsman Warehouse on I-26, both places are about 4 to 5 blocks apart.

When I found out that the JC in JC's Outdoors stood for Jesus Christ it became a go to place for me.
I noticed there was a tip jar at the main check out and it is labeled for outreach missions.
They have very convenient 24 hour drive through gas pumps with non-ethanol gas. Also drive through live bait bays for the big boats with built in bait tanks.
Got a pickup window for the grill too so you can call ahead and zip right through.rough
It's a pretty neat store and it's locally owned so I'll pay a bit more if necessary to support it.
Mark, I'll have to try the tea.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I’ll need check out JC’s. Like y’all said I rather go to a local owned place and get good advice and service than be herded through a box store. I hit Monk’s and Southern Crappie here when I need something. Usually if ya listen they will educate you on Crappie. Thanks again.

Got to visit JC’s. Thanks again for the suggestion. Gotted me a new pair of Costa sunglasses. Nice place, grill was closed so no tea. I’m really wanting to bring the boat down so I can use drive thru bait area!! Very cool.

Your welcome just hate the grill was closed. That's the only place I get my gas, bait and breakfast when I go that way to the lake. I usually let out at Siesta Cove.Sent from my VS501 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
