    Default Wateree lake conditions?

How’s Wateree? I am going to head down in morning to try and figure out the stripers. Is Cedar Creek good this time of year or is to much water moving? Thanks

I would go down lake in search of warmer water temperature. Don't be afraid to fish shallow.

Appreciate the heads up. Went this morning and fished colonel creek to dam. No schooling fish and no action.

Side note: When the Wateree State Park sign at the ramp states to use “caution” when lake level is below 95.5..... turn around and do not use. We found out the hard way, in the dark. Ramp is basically dry today and we went off the end and high centered the trailer. Had to push boat off and pull out. Then drive truck to public ramp just north of there to get out at the end of the day. That other ramp only had 2.5 ft of water around lunch but was usable.

Plenty of dirty water and trash. Did t see any fish being boated today.
