Default How is Wateree looking after the storms?

We got hammered up here in nc last night by some pretty rough storms with lots of rain. Checking today, but I figure the lakes up here are going to be mud holes. Did ya'll get hammered down there as well? If anyone passes over or fishes Wateree today, how doe it look? Trying to decide if I need to head north or south tomorrow.
    Thanks.

I left out a 5 gallon bucket to get rinsed and it had about an inch. That's not the same as a rain gauge of course but it rained hard for a while. The runoff will probably mud things up...as to when I'm not sure. Wateree may be far enough down to be ok for a day or two.

I'll ask my aunt tonight when she gets off work, she lives on main lake up above the State Park.

She's home now - said it's just slightly muddy. If upstream got a lot of rain it could well be pretty muddy tomorrow.

Actually if the sides of the bucket are parallel up to to the top it is an accurate gauge. The bigger the gauge the more accurate as long as it is not tapered.

It only rained for like 20 minutes at the lake. Wateree y Creek probably be muddy and the upper third might be a little stain but should be no problem fishing at all. The stripers are not up river anyways.I’ll be out chasing the rockfish tomorrow.
