When someone fishes a downed tree along the bank or a boat dock are they poachers?

It's a PUBLIC lake people. None of us have a right to claim any part of it as our own.

That is different because it is a structure that is either natural or is visible to the public .

I am fully aware that it is a public lake and stated that at the end of the day there is nothing that can be done about it. In my opinion if you know that a pile is someone else's especially someone that you know and you have not contributed to putting out the brush out of respect you move on. Everybody has an opinion and I knew I would be in the minority as not many people now days have respect for other fishermen. I have had people follow me, use binoculars, and stop yards away while I am fishing a pile, then go right to it as soon as I leave.

How does anyone know its your brush pile and not a natural brush pile when they find it with a depth finder ? I guess you need to leave a marker on it with your name on it.I tried that but someone kept taking my markers.

I been putting brush in for 20 years! by myself! You can go to my you tube channel and see the video where the guy trys to run me off! I was fishing there long before he every came along. I got over 200 piles in that lake alone,if somebody is on one of mine, I move on to the next one.YouTube

Its easy, just assume every brush pile is everyones.
We have come full circle to a discussion that has been decided by law.
