You are correct on several of your points, but there is a thing such as respect, courtesy, politeness, and acknowledgement of the individual that is taking the time to do all the hard work of placing the brush out only to have a rude brush poacher take issue with him wanting to fish the spot he made. Maybe you should engage with this individual, thank him for his efforts, concede the spot when he’s on the water, ask and you may find he’s ok with sharing “his” hole when he’s not around.
