    Default Wylie 9-26-19

Perch were biting most anything we put down to them. Caught about 40 real quick for bait. Most were small but several were larger than normal. Saw big schools of perch at 3 different spots.

Trolled for cats till about 11 when it started getting hot. We caught a couple of blues & a couple of channel cats. Nothing over about 15 lbs.

Hey Charles glad you found the perch. Where they in the main lake or in a creek?

What is the water temperature on Wylie? It's still high 80's low 90's on Monticello. Since it doesn't have a direct river feed I'm wondering if the water stays warmer longer.

    Temp was still around 82.

We found perch at the spot I gave you a bunch of perch last year(about 1/2 down big A). Also,, down at the mouth of Big A was loaded with perch. Another area loaded with perch was just below the light house down on the main channel.

We used worms, cut perch & spoons. Bite was fast. Caught several good size perch for a change.
