    A deep pile on a drop off. That sounds like a recipe for hot summer and cold winter slabs! Good job.

    I found fish on the 2D finder last weekend and STILL didnt do too good. They were there in 20'-25' of water hanging above the thermacline @ 15' but just wouldnt bite. I fished for then for an hour and only boated 5 crappie. I tried a few other places, riding @ 15 miles in search of them. I went back to where I began. They were still there but wouldn't bite. I was back on the trailer and headed home by 9AM. If they wont bite I aint fishing for 'em in this heat. It just aint fun anymore (age I guess). I'll be back this fall when the water isn't 87*'s.
