Thank you for sharing. Continued prayers being sent. Stay strong Michael, and please let us know if there is anything at all we can do for you and or the family.
I want to express my appreciation to all of you for your thoughts and prays. This one hurts deep because Aaron and I had so much fun together and I will miss that. It is the missing that hurts. The memorial was unbelievable. His youth pastor from another church came to speak, sing "I can Only Imagine" Aaron loved that one. and the Pastor that gave Aaron Baptism from other church came to speak. His best friend in a church we had attended that had committed suicide, his mother sang "Amazing Grace My Chains are Gone".
The Holy Spirit was with me and I gave the Eulogy of what a wonderful warm heart and personable person he was and shared memories. I am overwhelmed by the response from this community, my church family, friends and family. There must have been over 60 youth there and the Spirit was moving. I talked to Pastor to use Romans 8:28 because I said the possibility of many youth will be there. Our thoughts were to reach out the Gospel to the youth and others so God can do all good things through tragic to those that love him.
I got to talk to many of those youth and my heart was blessed. His friends he hung out with me told me all he talked about was the fishing we had done and that off road cabo trip.
Thanks Brettw for attending the Memorial. I know all of you in this community was with me in prayer and thoughts.
Aaron was on a well known and feared paintball team here in Rock Hill. They told my daughter when she was ready and give a date they will hold a day at the paintball park cook a couple of pigs and hold a all day benefit. I will reread the other post and PM's I will followup in the time for me soon. Family has some things left to do.
I will end this like I ended the Eulogy. "Folks do not let it go too long between days you tell your children you are proud of them and love them. Folks do not let it go too long between days you tell your grandchildren you are proud of them and love them. Everyday is a precious day."
Thanks all for your thoughts, prayers and allowing me to share my grief.
