    Default Small fish

I’m confused..... my last two outings at secession have produced non stop action, but nothing over 11 inches (11” may be stretching it). I usually catch nice fish there pulling lines, but not this year. Any words of wisdom?

    Default Small fish

Secession is being hit harder than ever and the last three years no telling at the number of big crappie caught with few if any being released. The fisherman are reaping what they have sowed with smaller fish. That being said the biggest fish spawn first and their spawn is over and they have moved out to deeper waters. Once the big fish moves out the smaller fish spawn and that is the fish you are catching.

I know it's frustrating but those are the fish you will wanna catch next year and the years to come. Keep enough to eat and release the rest.

I lnow where you are coming from, many small fish caught and released this year on Secession. It will be better next year and then the next will be real good.
