Brett, we did not try it. It was way to windy for that. The anchor was to light to hold, it would just drag bottom. We would drag by the brush only to drop a jig or two and then have to reset the anchor again. We caught fish every time we came by a brush until we couldn't manage the wind without hanging up. Fish were scattered else where and some were holding tight to the brush tops. We were only getting the aggressive fish and had to move when they stopped biting. Monk was the master of his brush piles, he knows how big and what angle to approach them from. I was only a passenger to witness his skills! I think we would have tried long lining if the wind would lets us!

The wind always seem to make for some hard fishing but I would rather fish with wind instead of night fishing anymore. I just LOVE sleeping at night now I guess. Looks like you guys did pretty good. Congrats.
