Thread: Lake Wylie CrappieFest

Time is short now. If you have not put your name on the attend list PLEASE GET IT DONE BY WED ! Looks like about 40 to 45 folks have signed in. Would like to see more. As of now everything is looking good. Weather looks great. Fish are biting. And the food is almost taken care of. We do ask that you bring your own drinks. We will have ice there and cups. What is needed is some volunteers to bring some cole slaw, tater salad and hot dog chili. One person dont need to volunteer all. Just let us know by Thursday so we can plan for it. Will be posting more info as week passes by. Keep checking for any new info daily. Bout 6:30 till 9:00 in evening. Hope to see everyone. And be ready for some good food , good fishing and good times. All CDC members , family , and friends are welcome. There is no fee to come. Just obey the state boating and fishing rules. See ya there.

I hope to make it if i can get over this crud I've got and the wife don't have to work.Her transmission went out on her car so she having to drive my truck.Cant afford to fix it or get another one for her to drive.

Counting down ! We have a couple of folks volunteer for the slaw and chili. Also some baked beans and cookies are on the way I understand. As said before bring your own drinks please. We got the ice and cups taken care of. We will be at ramp by 6:15 to start sign in. The large shelter behind the bath house will be ours. Try to be there and signed up on time so everyone can splash and go fishin on time. Hope to splash around 7:00 a.m. or safe light. Weather turning a bit but still we are on go. A rainsuit just in case wont be a bad idea. Showers late in afternoon is forecast. We should be safe and sound . Don't let it keep you from coming. How many times do they get it wrong on a day you wanted to fish. It turned out to be a great day didn't it ! Come on out and lets fish and have fun. See ya there.

Well guys was looking forward to meet everyone but looks like i will be sitting this one out.Went to doctor yesterday and i have a bad allergy sinus infectiin.Maybe i can make it to the next one.Have fun and catch a bunch.

All right here it is ! After watching 17 different weather reports and listening to 28 other people it has been decided to
go on with the Fest ! All weather has scattered showers then storms late in the day. So we talked it over and we gonna fish. Totally understand if you want to not chance getting wet. But all the effort put into this and money spent it is tough to call it on this forecast. The next open spot for a shelter is in May. I am sure some one will pick us apart for going ahead but that's the way it is. If it turns more to the dangerous side we will post a halt. But scattered showers is just fishing 101. Hope everyone will still come out and have a good day. See ya there . Rain or shine.
