gotta ask !!! I think they pump water out of broad river to fill up Monticello == so
if that's right will it muddy up Monticello like broad is now?
im about ready to put my toon back on the trailer and am going fishin somewhere
ill have a chance to catch at least one lol
I’ve never seen Monticello muddy. Even if they pump back it will only be on the lower end of the lake and even then the water runs through the plant which I’m sure is filtered first and then discharged in the roped off area.

They don’t pump enough per day to change the color much. When it does change it’s near the plant and I caught fish near 99 landing. Don’t think it will change any in that area. Target the 50’ range for the biggest perch. Caught a lot 10-12’ off the bottom. Just reeling up the spoon with no added action.

I hear Little Allison is not that bad. But that was from a bass guy! Sure wanted to go to day. Can't hardly wait on better conditions.

The water may be stained and still a little cold but the fish are still there and feeding as usual.
This is what the stained waters l caught a limit of nice crappie in today.
Dark colors work best tipped with minnow.
It's that time of year and limits of crappie are biting.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
Thanks BigDawgg thanked you for this post
