Default Wylie 2-2-19 Lake Wylie Long Line. CK and Stumpjumper

Today was a great day. Not everyday I get to fish with a crappie tournament fisherman and also was a great person to talk to. We started at 7:00 and went to fish first creek saw lots of bait and fish and Eddy said sometime I don't like to fish when their too much bait and fish because it attracts a lot of other species. It did not take long second, third and fourth fish caught were really nice bass I mean (green carp). We came to agreement it was time to move. We saw one of Eddy's buddy out there and he was spider rigging and was doing real good.
We went to watchamacallit creek dang this senior moment I forgot the name of creek and it was not on fire but we we catching some good quality. Eddy said a few of those would not be bad to be in boat in tournament. Went to the other creek and caught a few there but were smaller.

Had a great time talking and telling stories. I learned somethings that will be valuable in my long line. I wanted to say again Eddy I know we waited a long time to do this but it was worth every minute out there with you. I really enjoyed that time. I know this crowd want pics so here goes. We kept 25 threw back a handful. Biggest fish was one once shy of 2 pounds. I think we had 5 green carp. And was a bless day no slimers hit my jigs.

Enjoyed the report and congrats on the day! Sometimes the fishing partner is what makes the trip even when the fish are biting

Well done, Eddie’s a great fellow. Too bad you didn’t have the real pro with ya, Eddie’s daughter Amanda! Nice catch and report fellows.

You guys had a good day of fishing. Glad you two got together and spent some time together. Looking forward to some crapping fishing soon. Weather gets right and water clearing up it won't be long. Hope to see some good crappies caught this spring.
