They will be on main lake brush (or on the way) more than likely by that time

We are thinking on a return trip to Wateree in June. Last time we were there was in March and we long lined. Work schedule changed, any thoughts on how to fish it for crappie in June? Thinking about pulling cranks, any one else know if that will work on Wateree? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
That's why they call it Fishing and not Catching!

I'd leave the crank bait stuff home. Jigging pole for brush or tight line over brush piles, mostly Black crappie in Wateree, never seen or caught a white crappie there.
If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D
