    Default SC Wildlife Magazine

Just a shout out to my friend, Pam Corwin. She is a DNR fisheries biologist in Charleston, but also an incredibly talented artist. The January 2019 magazine is a commemorative issue celebrating 65 years in publication recognizing original art.
Not only was Pam's drawing of a trout chosen for the front cover, her owl drawing is featured on the inside back cover.
She is a military vet and is cute as a speckled pup to boot.

She does beautiful work! She also does the artwork for the SCDNR angler recognition certificates. I got one of the crappie certificates, it is a beautiful print. Glad to see her work being recognized. And I'd have to agree with Ray, if I was a single young man, I'd be running after her like a long-legged pointer...lol

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Lots of nice artwork in that issue of SC wildlife. I honestly didn’t realize the cover was a painting! The inside cover (striper blitz) is a painting by Mr Duane Raver. He has painted several covers for SC Wildlife, as well as numerous covers for NC Wildlife, over the years. His fish identification artwork is the gold standard used by most states on their fish identication posters. I used Mr Ravers artwork in the striper book I put together a few years ago. Could have used photos, but the artwork is so much more pleasing to the eye (imo). Love my SC and NC wildlife magazines!

Actually her husband is a gourmet cook. He's been featured on local cooking shows in Charleston. You just intimidated by a good looking gal that can out fish you.
