I have a 2 year old Garmin 93sv unit that Garmin says will not work with live screen and would have to buy new unit.
Go figure they know how to make sales.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Lowrance will be the same way. My HDS Gen 3's will not work with the new Live scope coming out this spring. I will have to upgrade to the newest units for it to work. I guess the only good news is that the Lowrance unit does not require a seperate black processor box to work, the transducer plugs directly into the unit.

If so I will be upgrading my Lowrance units and getting the new transducer for my trolling motor. I would love to mount the transducer on a seperate stick mount so I could manually turn it to scan while on spot lock. But I haven't seen a stick mount for one yet that I can stand the looks of.
    Good idea.
I might get one if it works with hds9 v2

Keep looking. I saw something about a fellow having one in a video attached to the side of his pontoon. It was a boat rest swivel cut and modified to swing to the side of his toon and lock just like when you bring it up for travel on a boat trailer. Also, had a clip or something to keep it in place and not bounce around. It was a great idea he had.

Thanks Brett, that is it! I would add a Velcro strip to the front to hold the lose end tight for travel other that it's a great set up!
