    Default Wateree 10/23

7 am Tuesday 10/23 Colonels creek bridge . Lake was covered in fog the crappie we not cooperating only caught 1 small one, but I could hear/see fish jumping out of the water in front of the bridge . Then the line took off and I had a nice fight on my hands the rod I was using only had 6lb test line , but was able to hoist this guy up onto bridge . Wanting more action I changed rods and went down to boat launch hoping to catch another striper or two while they chasing bait up into the creek . No more stripers but did get three bass so I still had a fun morning.

Those stripes are a blast on light tackle. Great catch!
