Monticello Perch Jerk 10/31
First time on Monticello, went to the bird and loons. Caught perch on spoons and jig double rigs in 35-45 ft. Had some of the biggest I ever caught. Caught 100+ and kept 65. Caught a lot of doubles. Tried out a new thumping stick to beat the bottom of the boat!! I’m a believer!!!

I have fished all my life and that was the first I had ever heard of that. Even though I do not intentionally fish for perch, he made a believer out of me. Glad you got into them.

Nice catch on the perch I hav been beating on the bottom of my boat for strikers for over 10 years and yes it works.
