    Default Wylie 10-15-18

We put in behind the church on Big Allison this morning. Water was pretty clear all the way down to the mouth. As we started up the main channel, the water got muddy but not bad. Some small trash floating.

Trolled for cats at the mouth of Big Allison but only got 1 blue. Ran up across from the intake for Catawba & started trolling again. Stayed here most of the morning catching 8 blues & 1 flathead(about 12 lbs). Had several about 15 lbs & the big blue was 28 3/4. Our biggest to date out of wylie. Did not catch any channel cats.

Ran down to Joslin Park. Made 1 drift but the wind was too much. Called it a day.

    Probally back in the morning.

I love to eat catfish. But love the smaller ones, the ones I can fry on the bone, the best. Glad you had a good outing. Thanks for the post.

Looks like the big cats are still biting well. Congrats on the catches, and the big fish.
