I have put 100's of them in, they work good for about 2 years then they start breaking down. I Put about 50 lbs of concrete per bucket, i mix small rocks in mine so the concrete goes further.

Two years is fairly accurate with most brush. I use strictly oak and hickory. These hardwoods are good, and they last 3 to 4 years, but as soon as the fish numbers decline, I place another brush top to sweeten up the pile.
