As you know by now the Clash is in the books again. I would like to say a big Thanks to everyone that came out. Ya'll made it happen. This was our biggest turnout ever for this event. Had 21 boats come out to take on the competition. N.C. came loaded for bear. They had 14 teams ready to do battle. But those s.c. boys aint skeered. They had 7 crews to defend the title for another year. In the mix were plenty of old hands and several new ones. Thanks to the new guys and girls for joining us. Hope to see you again soon. Keep check on the boards cause we come up with something all the time. And a special shout to our new buddy SuperDave. He joined us in his kayak. He said he cant get anywhere fast or to far but when he gets there lookout. If I read the numbers he threw his help into the N.C. count with 5 fish at 3.lbs. and his big fish was 14 oz. Real nice for someone that never fished our events. Thanks Dave. Now to the numbers . As everyone knows the S.C. team came out on top once again. But those N.C. boys made it tough. Final weight was SC. with a 14 fish weight of 18lb. 2oz. N.C. was in there with 14 fish at 14.14 lbs. It is kinda odd numbers but it works out that each N.C. boat can weigh 1 fish and S.C. boats could do 2 fish per boat. They had 14 boats and S.C. had seven. So it all came out to each state weighing the same number of fish. Big individual fish went to capps couisin with a 1.9 lb. slab. And just to rub it in he also had the heavy 5 fish with a 7.2 lb. total. Great job sir. All the other folks added to the team totals but it will take me all day to read this page of names and numbers I got. Already in process of better way to keep everything legible. Thanks Miss Kaitlynn for keeping up with the scores
