thanks for all the input fellers. it has got to be a little tiresome changing out battery chargers that's been lasting
a year or less and sense the warranty is off and has only 90 days I wont be buying any more Cabelas chargers
hopefully the one I just changed out will last a longer time but at any rate when it blows up I will be putting a
different brand on my toon. thanks again for your input

Thanks for this thread. Last spring I found out my 3 bank Pro Mariner charger is only charging on 2 banks. I took the cranking battery off the charger and my trolling batts are charging now. Don't know how much longer it will last though so all this info is a good thing. Atleast I know kinda know where I wanna start looking. Thanks again.

yeah !! I have seen in the past few years if something breaks or turns out no good just ask on this board and somebody has been there and done that and are willing to share there thoughts on it which is a good thing and like GBM said at least you kind of know where to start looking. I don't like to bad mouth nobody but if all the Cabela's battery chargers are any thing like the 4 I've had in the last 4 and 1/2 years == well I don't know but I can see why they took the life time warranty off and now its only 90 days == enough of that == thanks again for the input and happy fishin to you all Remus

I run two different chargers, one for the TM, and the other for the starting, electronics. I don't want TM interference in my electronics through the charger. See several complain about it.
I too don't run the motor enough to fully charge the battery, plus the radio and sonar units draw a little power while off. I don't want to launch and discover my battery is dead. I plug in both chargers in camp or when I get home.

not sure GBM (because I was still little bit POd and not listening) but I think Cabela's offered some kind of extended warranty but it was
extra charge for it

They seem to have one of the better warranties I saw when looking at the different models. 3 years
