    Default short wylie cat report

Not much to say , really, I couldn't catch a fish in a 5 gal bucket!! That about sums it up! Caught plenty of perch, I would say 40+, but then we forgot how to fish, put 2 cats in the boat , biggest was 15 lb. Seen Charles Biggers on the water, I think he did better than us. No pictures...oh well, maybe I'l gettem next time! It was like I had a dog following me around or something!

    Catching was hard today.

At first, we could not even find the perch but fish were breaking the water all across the lake. We caught 2 flatheads( 12 & 14 lbs), 1 blue(20lbs) & 1 small channel. Marked a lot of perch from the top to the bottom as we were trolling for the cats. Caught several perch on gold spoons while we were moving. All the cats were caught before 9 then could not get a bite at all. Left about 12 after talking to Countryboy.

    Next time, can't wait.

Hey! I resemble that remark! I will be following you soon. I need training bad. MTHook kept asking me questions I couldn't answer. Are we there yet, when they going start biting and how long does it take before we can fish? Man! I was exhausted. You got to go and enjoy fishing. I hate they weren't biting. What do you think the problem was? We saw a few guides or at least they looked like guides with logo's on the sides in big catfish boats dragging on a couple of places! I am sure amazed at the perch not being there for me in some of the places I know. Then you got them jumping in the boat for you! Seams weird. Glad you caught some thing.

CBNC, my friend Zack and his buds are fishing for the fun of it also, they keep zero fish! He sent these to me today. I was going to pm you but then thought everyone might like to look at these. Only one was caught close to T Bones the rest up river some where. Flat head was 62 pounds the rest I don't know. Hope you don't mind me attaching to your post!

Them is some bigguns for sure. I'm thinking the main lake might be turning over. The river, due to current doesn't get affected by turn over as the main lake areas do. As they say, some days we are catchers, others we are just fishermen. We all need that slice of humble pie every one in a while, it makes the good days all the sweeter.
