Back out this morning after perch & cats. At first stop on Big Allison, we caught 6 perch just as fast as we could get the hooks in the water. Then, the perch ran away & hid. Tried several more places on Big & Little Allison for perch but no takers. Ran down to Joslin Park area. Drifter cut bait & minnows without any bites.

Ran back up river towards the Nuclear Station. Marked a lot of stuff on a ledge. Started drifting cut bait & minnows. Caught a 12 lb flathead & about 35 perch. Only had 3 more hits on cut bait.

Catching is slow & hard. Come on cooler weather.

We caught a few perch at the back end of LA Sunday in about 8-9'. Kinda surprised they were that shallow.

I'd be happy to have a 12lb flathead
Oh I could wrestle a monster fish
