Loaded up the wife and the dog Saturday morning and headed to Wateree. Splashed the boat around 8:00 and started looking for fish. Found tons of bait on the depth finder so we started deploying the spread. Couldn't get all the rods out before one went over. First fish to the boat was a 6 pounder. A few minutes later looked down and noticed one of the lines seemed to be swimming towards the boat. Hooked up with a long 25 lb male that was beat up from the spawn. This went on for the next two hours. We managed to break the 100 pound mark in just over two hours. My wife broke her personal record twice in one trip ending with a 31 pound female that was released. We also broke the boat's record with that fish as well. The other thing we broke was the scale on the boga grips. We ended up bringing back 6 for the pot. All of our bigger females were measured, weighed and released. Fish were caught in 15-18 FOW. Water Temp was 83-85. Santee rigs and Santee rigs with a rattle were hot. All fish came on cut perch.

Went out Sunday afternoon to Little Allison and did some trolling. We ended with 2 perch, 4 channel cats, and 1 blue. All were pardoned and sent back to fight another day. We trolled in 10-15 FOW. Blue and Chartreuse caught 4 of the cats and all of the perch. The blue came on a crawdad color.
