Glad you can get out for awhile. It's been to long as it is!

I went to Cane Creek this morning, caught a few catfish 1 crappie and 1 large mouth. About 10 it was getting hot so I started the big motor and let it idle while I reeled up the rods, then it just quit. I thought Ok I ran out of gas. The I looked over the back an had smoke coming out of the engine cover.
Once I got it on the trailer I found the tilt doesn't work, no sign of burnt wires that I can se after removing the covers.
Next step will be to see if I can get the tilt to work( fuse to engine didn't blow)
Any Ideas?

So I can't bring my boat Saturday got to figure out what happened

Sometimes tilt has an up and down I think. If it doesn’t go either direction I’d think an old connection burned up if not a fuse

I found the problem the rector/regulator is burned to a crisp. Now I'm looking for the part

I had the same thing happen to me bout 2 years ago cost me $ 500

Mac, I found one for $20.00 reviews were all good. We'll see if it works, it's returnable
