    Default Murray 4/28/18

Caught 15 this morning, kept 9. Largest was 1.78 pounds. Caught pulling jigs in 12 to 20 FOW. Got a good 5 pound channel cat too. Dang 18 inch stripers made for a lot of tangles.

Looks like you had a pretty good day except for the striper episode.. Those look like some nice fish. Glad you had a good day.

How was the water color down there after all the rain? I was down there last weekend jigging for perch and stripers and the small stripers were thick like you were saying. Fun on light tackle when targeting them but I could see how they would be frustrating with multiple rods.

The water up the rivers is brown stained, but not bad muddy. Not really much different from last weekend. I caught a few perch and probably 10 stripers that were 17 to 20 inches. They fun to catch, but make a mess out of my long lines.

Good report. Those stripers can be a pain. But fun on light rods.
