    My preference is a 11 foot pole. I switched to ACC Crappie Stix last year and love these poles. I use 8 lb. line except when grass fishing, then I go to 10 lb. Tommy likes heavier 12 lb. line for grass on a 12 foot pole. So, like any technique, it’s fishermens preference.

    Slabs for sure....is that a white crappie I see in the cooler?

    Looks like you guys are getting a good mix of whites and blacks. I'm beginning to see a good many whites here too. You guys have some quality fish. Congrats to you and Tommy on a good day of fishing.
